Christmas Cookies

Christmas Cookies

Preheat oven: 350
Cook Time: 8-12 minutes, but dough does need time to chill in fridge before handling

1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cream of tartar
1.5 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
3 eggs
3.5 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt

1. Blend butter and vanilla
2. Mix in Sugar and eggs
3. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until dough forms
4. Chill for 1-2 hours
5. Roll out dough 1/2 inch thick
6. Use cookie cutters to create festive cookies
7. Bake for 8-12 minutes....until lightly golden
8. Cool completely and then decorate
