I want to make this cake for my daughter's pizza-themed bday party but am nervous about the frosting--how did you get it to come out so red and not pink?? Any suggestions on what food coloring to use?? thanks!

Red is a tricky color, but if you use enough food coloring it will turn red...you an also make your own whipped or buttercream frosting and puree raspberries or strawberries and add them for the red color you're looking for...it would also be healthier...you can use frozen fruit for the puree :)

good luck!
